Kaká makes Gerrard admission

Friday, April 17, 2009

AC Milan star Kaká believes Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard would be the perfect fit for the Rossoneri.

The two have competed against each other in two Champions League finals, with the Reds triumphing in 2005 and Milan gaining revenge two years later.

And Kaká feels someone like Gerrard, who only recently extended his Anfield contract until the summer of 2013, would make Milan a very strong team again.

He told Sky Sport 24: "I like modern football, I like players that know how to attack and defend.

"If it was up to me, I would sign someone like (Steven) Gerrard, who for me is a complete player.

"He can play in any position, as a playmaker, midfielder, right-sided midfielder and he would look good at Milan."

Kaká added: "A cycle is ending, a new one will begin. The time has come to refresh the squad.

"You can have a mix of experience and young players with the will to win."
