Real Madrid have received loans worth €150 million to cover the Kaká and Cristiano Ronaldo transfers, according to Spanish newspaper Expansion.
Caja Madrid, Spain’s fourth largest financial institution, and Grupo Santander, one of Europe’s biggest banking groups, have loaned the Spanish giants €75 million each.
The loans will be guaranteed by the €600 million revenue the club will receive from Mediapro, the company which currently owns the their television and broadcast rights.
Returning Real president Florentino Pérez this month signed Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United for a world record €94 million, only three days after paying AC Milan €65 million for Kaká.
And with the loan in place, Los Merengues could launch another assault for Valencia’s David Villa, or begin negotiations for Franck Ribéry.
