Aly Cissokho slams Milan attitude

Sunday, July 5, 2009

FC Porto left-back Aly Cissokho has blasted AC Milan for using his medical as "an excuse to stop the transfer".

The 21-year-old was announced officially on the Rossoneri website as a new signing last month, but then the transfer collapsed.

Milan claimed that they had found a problem with Cissokho’s teeth that could cause muscular injuries in the future.

"I have no problems with my teeth," Cissokho told La Gazzetta dello Sport. "I have never had serious muscular problems either.

"I don't know why Milan are saying those things, but I don't like this.

"I did two medicals – one for Milan and one for the Italian Federation – and nobody told me there was anything unusual. It’s just an excuse to stop the transfer.

"The real problem in this issue is not my teeth but money."
