Luca Toni could join West Ham — Agent

Jose Alberti, the agent of Bayern Munich striker Luca Toni, believes West Ham are likely to sign his client ahead of the new Premier League season.
The Hammers are seeking at least one striker and reports have suggested they could make a swoop for the Italy international, who has fallen down the pecking order at the Allianz Arena following the arrivals of Ivica Olić and Mario Gómez.
It is claimed that a season-long loan agreement could be in the offing as Toni looks to ensure regular first-team football ahead of the 2010 World Cup.
"I think it will happen," Alberti told TMW.
"At Bayern, Toni is not playing and (Hammers boss Gianfranco) Zola is a great friend of his."
