Two goals in four first half minutes from Niko Kranjčar were enough to give Croatia a 2-1 win over Israel in their Euro 2012 qualifier in Ramat Gan.

Kranjčar got his first goal from the penalty spot on 36 minutes and added a second from open play four minutes later to put the visitors in control.

Itay Shechter managed to pull one back for the hosts nine minutes from time, but Croatia held on for the win.
