Ronaldinho's time at AC Milan is almost up with the Rossoneri confirming they are ready to sell the fading Brazilian star for €8 million.
The 30-year-old, who is in the final year of his contract with the Italian giants, has been linked with an exit from the San Siro after limited appearances this season under coach Massimiliano Allegri and the acquisition of Antonio Cassano from Sampdoria.
His former club Grêmio had expressed an interest in taking him back to his homeland to finish his career during the January transfer window.
However, Grêmio's hopes of taking Ronaldinho on a free transfer have been shattered after Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani insisted the former Ballon d'Or winner will not be leaving unless their valuation is met.
"Whoever wants Ronaldinho has to pay €8 million," said Galliani after meeting with the player's agent Roberto de Assis.
This news is sure to alert other Brazilian clubs such as Palmeiras and Flamengo, who could possibly complete this deal with the aid of sponsors.
