Barcelona moved provisionally seven points clear of bitter rivals Real Madrid at the top of La Liga with a comfortable 3-0 home win over Racing Santander.
The home side needed just two minutes to open the scoring as Pedro bundled in from close range before Lionel Messi gave the Catalans a 2-0 lead at the break when he scored from the spot after David Villa was fouled in the area.
Andrés Iniesta added a third after the break when he fired a pass from Pedro that took a friendly deflection off a defender before landing in the net.
