England are now level on points with Montenegro at the top of Euro 2012 qualifying Group G with a comfortable 2-0 victory over rock-bottom Wales in Cardiff.
Frank Lampard broke the deadlock from the penalty spot after just seven minutes after Ashley Young had been brought down by his Aston Villa team-mate James Collins inside the box.
The visitors doubled their lead on 15 minutes when Young's cross was clinically dispatched by Darren Bent six yards out.
Wales improved after half-time but never looked likely to get back into the game.
