Vincenzo Montella suffered his first defeat as AS Roma coach following a 2-0 loss to Juventus on home soil.
Juventus broke the deadlock shortly before the hour mark as Fabio Grosso's cross found Miloš Krasić inside the area and his right-footed volley beat Roma goalkeeper Doni.
Alessandro Matri doubled the advantage in the 74th minute when he latched onto Grosso's through ball, beat the offside trap and surged towards the area before firing past Doni.
