Mancini: I'll return in July

Former Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini has revealed that his career hiatus will be over next summer.

Mancini has been on a paid holiday since he was sacked by the Nerazzurri last season.

His contract with the club still stands and will run for another three years, so their failure to resolve the issue means he is still paid.

The tactician must first free himself from the contract and agree terms for the rescission before he is able to sign for another club.

"I have considered this time a holiday - albeit a longer one than usual," Mancio told Sky Sport 24 during a charity derby match for former Genoa hero Stefano Borgonovo, who is suffering from Lou Gherig’s Disease.

"I am beginning to really miss the daily grind of being a coach, so I will go back to work from July, not August."
