Bayern Munich are back in the race in Group A of the Champions League after a scrappy 1-0 success over Maccabi Haifa at the Allianz Arena.

The Bundesliga giants broke the deadlock after 62 minutes a Mario Gómez shot from the edge of the area was parried into Ivica Olić's path and the Croatian slotted calmly into an empty net.
