Stoke City maintained their unbeaten record in all competitions this year with a last-gasp 2-1 triumph at troubled Portsmouth.

Frédéric Piquionne gave the home side the advantage after 35 minutes, but Robert Huth's header levelled matters five minutes after the break.

The visitors went a man down in the 73rd minute when Andy Wilkinson was shown a second yellow card for allegedly pushing Aruna Dindane off the ball.

But Stoke regained their composure and substitute Salif Diao netted at the death with his first Premier League goal in eight years.
