The "Espai Leo Messi" occupies 70 m² of the first floor of the Camp Nou Experience, where visitors have the chance to see the Argentine's four Ballon d'Or trophies and two Golden Boots.

Besides an exhibition of his personal accolades, the new space also includes two interactive tables with all Messi's goals for the Blaugrana.

Visitors can also vote for what they consider to have been his best goal in Barça colors.

Museum Director Jordi Penas explained that the space was created in answer to a real demand from fans who have been through the Camp Nou Experience.

He told the club's website: "The visitors really wanted something like this - they want to feel closer to Barça's hero.

"It makes it clear that Barça is about emotions and sensations and that as well as showing our history, the club is also a world of excitement and fantasy."
