Niko Kranjčar grabbed a brace to help Tottenham Hotspur to a 3-0 success over fellow Champions League contenders Manchester City.
Spurs deservedly took the lead in the 37th minute when Kranjčar tapped in after Stephen Ireland had blocked Peter Crouch's header from Aaron Lennon's cross.
Jermain Defoe doubled the lead on 54 minutes with an instinctive finish from Crouch's flick-on and Kranjčar wrapped up the victory in stoppage time with a fine solo effort.
