Sampdoria slipped to seventh in the Serie A after Nenê's late leveler handed Cagliari a 1-1 draw at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.
Stefano Guberti had opened the scoring for Sampdoria on 48 minutes and they looked on course for an important win.
But the visitors pushed for the equaliser and got the goal they deserved when Nenê struck with nine minutes to go.
