FC Twente kept alive their faint hopes of reaching the last 16 of the Champions League with a 2-0 win at 10-man Werder Bremen.
Bremen had the majority of the chances throughout, but the 74th-minute dismissal of captain Torsten Frings swung the balance in the Dutch side's favour.
And the visitors took advantage to take the lead through Nacer Chadli's deflected strike on 81 minutes before Luuk de Jong headed the second three minutes later to make the game safe.
