Inter Milan secured a late 1-0 victory over Siena despite producing a below-par performance at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
The visiting side snatched all three points in the final minute when Luc Castaignos latched on to Thiago Motta's through ball before firing low past Siena goalkeeer Željko Brkić.
Siena's Franco Brienza then collected his second yellow for lashing out at the corner flag in frustration following the goal.
