Cristiano Ronaldo rages at HIMSELF after Al-Nassr's shock AFC exit
Cristiano Ronaldo was left visibly distressed after Al-Nassr were dumped out of the AFC Champions League in a shock 3-2 defeat to Japan's Kawasaki Frontale on Wednesday.

The 40-year-old superstar cut a dejected figure at full-time, appearing to argue with himself and replay missed chances in his mind.

Cameras captured Ronaldo shrugging, talking to himself, and blinking back tears as the final whistle blew - a rare and raw moment from the five-time Ballon d'Or winner.

Ronaldo's Late Misses Prove Costly

Ronaldo had hit the post in the first-half and squandered two late chances that could have rescued Al-Nassr's campaign.

Despite enjoying 75% possession and registering 21 shots, Al-Nassr were undone by the clinical Japanese side in a pulsating semi-final clash.

Teammates including Sadio Mané and Jhon Durán were left shellshocked by the result, as Kawasaki held firm to book their place in the final - where they will face Saudi rivals Al-Ahli.

Trophyless Season Looms

This latest defeat means Ronaldo is set to finish the season without silverware.

Al-Nassr sit third in the league, out of the King's Cup, and now eliminated from the AFC Champions League.

Since arriving in Riyadh in December 2022 after a dramatic exit from Manchester United, the Portuguese legend has lifted just one trophy: the Arab Club Champions Cup in August 2023.

Despite his stunning personal record of 97 goals in 108 appearances, team honours have eluded him - and frustration boiled over on the pitch.

Fighting On

After the match, Ronaldo didn't speak to the media but later posted on social media thanking fans and vowing to keep fighting.
We win together, we lose together. Proud of the team and always grateful for the support. We'll come back stronger.
