A group of women in Milan have run a £20,000 bet on which one of them will bed football heartthrob David Beckham.
The wealthy ladies have started the betting pool to try and nab the sports hunk, who is in the city playing for AC Milan.
"They have decided that the top prize is now David Beckham. They are mad about David."
David, who pulled some provocative poses for an Armani underwear campaign last year, was recently in news for being the centre of attraction at the Anema E Core Cancer Research gala dinner in Milan where he was besieged by female admirers.
All Beckham had to do was sit there as one female admirer after another approached his table for a quick chat.
Society lady Gabrielle Dompe placed the highest bid for a Beckham shirt at the event and clutched the handsome footballer to her chest as he welcomed her onstage.
The reports are certain to upset the Beckham's wife, Victoria, who is busy bringing up the couple's three young sons in Los Angeles.
