Serie A: Juventus 0-2 Palermo

Tuesday, March 2, 2010

Palermo leapfrogged Juventus into fourth with a 2-0 win at the Stadio Olimpico thanks to second-half goals by ex-Juve striker Fabrizio Miccoli and substitute Igor Budan.

The visitors broke the deadlock on the hour mark when Miccoli's right-footed shot from just outside the box beat Alex Manninger and struck the top right corner.

Budan came off the bench with 10 minutes remaining and the substitute had an immediate impact as he intercepted Zdeněk Grygera's back-pass towards Manninger and struck his team's second from close range.
