Champions League Group B: CSKA Moscow 2-3 Inter Milan

Wednesday, September 28, 2011

Inter Milan continue to thrive under Claudio Ranieri as they mustered a narrow 3-2 victory over CSKA Moscow in Russia.

Lúcio put Inter ahead six minutes into the game when he struck home from close range, and midway through the first half Giampaolo Pazzini increased the lead after turning in Yuto Nagatomo's cross.

Alan Dzagoev pulled one back for CSKA with a free kick on the stroke of halftime before Brazilian striker Vágner Love equalised in the 77th minute.

But substitute Mauro Zárate won it for Inter two minutes later when he latched onto an Esteban Cambiasso pass and drilled low into the net.
